Behentrimonium Chlorideis a behenyl-based (C22) cationic quaternary ammonium conditioning emulsifier. Compared with conventional C18 quaternary ammonium salts, it allows the cationic charged group and lipids to deposit on the hair more easily, providing better conditioning performance. Meanwhile, the hydrophobicity and deposition behavior of XT85 give the product excellent dry hair combability. Even without the deposition of other polymeric quaternary compounds, it still delivers outstanding conditioning effects, making it highly convenient for formulation applications.
